Larner honored for peer tutoring at Keene State College

Chris Larner of Concord, NH is tutoring students at Keene State College through the Asprire tutoring program. Chris is majoring in Economics.

The program brings together an individual student or a small group of students with a trained tutor to improve the skills essential for the course, address questions about the course content, organize a study plan, and build confidence.

Tutors are current Keene State students who must receive an A or B in the courses they wish to tutor and have an overall GPA of at least a 2.75 and maintain that GPA. Tutors must communicate well and be willing to work with individuals or small groups, have a sincere desire to help, and have a high level of patience.
