Colleen Butler Graduates from Keene State College

On Saturday, May 11, Keene State College's Commencement honored its biggest-ever graduating class. A total of 1,219 degrees were awarded to 1,146 students.

This year's graduates included Colleen Butler of Branford, earning a BA.

US Senator Jeanne Shaheen was the keynote speaker this year, sending off the class of 2013.

Margaret Russell Ramsay, Keene State College alumna of 1956, former NH House representative and dedicated volunteer with Keene State and the State of New Hampshire, received the Granite State Award. The Honorary Doctor of Science was presented to Dr. Fernand Prevost, Keene State alumnus of 1957 and influential contributor to mathematics education in New Hampshire. Both recipients spoke during the ceremony.
